BaZi compatibility: understand two complete people before the relationship
Compatibility is not two birthdays compressed into a percentage. A responsible comparison calculates two BaZi charts independently, then explains how expression, needs, resources and stages interact in both directions.
The short answer
Use verifiable birth details for both people, read each chart first, then compare both directions. The result supports reflection and conversation; it does not decide whether you belong together.
Information required
- Birth date and birthplace for both people
- Birth time when known; unknown states remain separate
- A reasonable right to use the other person's data
- One relationship question rather than a request for a verdict
A sound comparison process
First calculate each chart independently. Then read A-to-B and B-to-A element and Ten God relationships. Finally consider the stages each person is in. One score cannot replace these layers.

Do both people need an exact birth time?
Exact times provide both hour pillars. If either time is unknown, the affected comparison must be reduced rather than invented.
Is a higher compatibility score better?
Xinan does not create a compatibility percentage. Relationships require two-way structure, context and communication, not one score.
